AMP Platos R 496 is a fully automated microplate
reader, which due to its versatility makes processing of microplate based
ELISA tests simple and efficient in any field of application.
The modern 8-channel

AMP Platos W 96 is a fully automated microplate
washer, which due to its flexibility supports simple and efficient processing
of different kinds of ELISA based tests.
16 standard protocols
are available to process a whole 96-well microplate or selectively one or more
rows of a plate, as well as 8-well strips. For specific procedures up to 48
individual protocols can be easily defined by the user via the comfortable
user interface and stored in system memory.

is the new desktop spirometer designed by COSMED for lung function screening.

Pony FX
is the latest expression of the famous Pony, one of the worldwide best
sellers’ spirometers introduced for the first time in 1986 and sold in more
than 20.000 units. Pony FX includes all the experience, latest requirements
and customer wishes collected in more than 20 years.
Flowmeter
COSMED's
turbine flowmeter complies with ATS and ERS recommendations. All flow and
volume measurement systems are pre-tested in our lab by means of a pulmonary
waveform generator system in accordance with the ATS 94 standard procedure
(24+26 curves, BTPS conditions).
Since the measuring principle bases on the mechanical properties of the
turbine, unless serious mechanical damages, every Cosmed flowmeter does not
require a frequent calibration and provides always reliable measurement.

Accuracy
The
turbine flowmeter ensures maximum precision throughout a wide range of flows
(up to 20 l/s) with a very low flow resistance (less than 0.7 cm H2O/l/s at
12 l/s). Pony FX has a built-in temperature sensor for correcting the results
automatically to BTPS conditions. A quality control software prompts messages
during tests to ensure proper results.
Pony FX
is provided with 3 different interfaces:

Analysis
Measuring Station
for
Proprioceptive Posture Therapy
The POSTUROMED®
device with its movable and adjustable unstable therapy plate has a broad
range of application in neuro-orthopedic therapy, for preventative measures and
top class professional sport.
Using the motion analysis measuring system based on the travel time
measurement of ultrasonic pulses, the POSTUROMED® therapeutic device can be
expanded to form a complete analysis measuring station.
Apart from a stepping test the therapy plate can be swivelled out with a
provocation unit and also be used for objective tests where
neuro-degenerative disorders are involved.
Small ultrasonic markers are attached at the side of the therapy plate or
directly on the patient. The measuring system makes three-dimensional
recordings of all the movements of the markers and shows the results clearly
in a report.
For presenting the learning effect, several tests can be carried out directly
one after the other in the provocative test.The length of the movement path
of a virtual point in the middle of the plate is then calculated.
For analysing the stepping tests, colored frequency spectrograms are used to
indicate segmental instabilities. In this way, all the body movements can be
analyzed with respect to intensity and oscillation frequency.
In the reports, up to three tests can be compared for controlling the
therapy.

3D real time gait analysis
with the measuring system CMS-HS
The measuring station for gait analysis permits simple and fast analysis of
all important parameters of the human gait.
The measuring process is based on the technical ultrasound pulse time
measurement. In this method small ultrasound markers as well as triple
markers are attached to the sacrum, thigh, ankle and ball of the feet, on
both sides of the body.
Signals from the left and the right side of the body are measured
simultaneously. The time segments to be analysed are interactive selected. A
report is then automatically generated.
In this report the kinematic standard parameters such as the joint rotations
in all three planes for the hip, knee and ankle joint are presented. The
individual gait phases, the step length, the cadence and the average speed
are evaluated. In addition motion of the arms, the trunk and the shoulders
can be calculated. The EMG and force data as well as the joint rotation
angles are shown as normalized and averaged curves with standard deviation.
A feeding unit can be used in order to extend the walking range on the floor
to up to 4 meters.

Spinal Analysis
Assessment
of the mobility of the cervical and lumbar spinal column
With
special triple markers based on miniature ultrasound transmitters, simple and
rapid function tests can be carried out on the cervical and lumbar spinal
column and on the entire torso.
The measuring sensor mounted on a tripod detects the travel-time of the
ultrasonic signals and transmits the results to the basic unit. During the measurement
the patient makes fluent movements to his maximum mobility.
The report shows the maximum mobility – the range of motion (ROM). A diagram
is presented for each main direction of evasive movement: flexion /
extension, rotation and lateral flexion.
The quality of performance of the movements as well as all coupled movements
are shown in phase diagrams taking into consideration the speed of the
movements. The ability of the patient to reproduce movements or movement
restrictions can be seen in the coefficient of variability.
In the analysis of lumbar spinal column movements, the synkinesis between
lateral inclination and pelvic rotation as well as the coordination between
hip and lumbar spine during flexion/extension are shown.

JMA system
Precise
recording of the state and mobility of the mandible joint is indispensable
for optimum prosthetic treatment and functional analysis.
With the aid of JMA measurement systems - based on the travel time of
ultrasound impulses - simple, rapid and high precision measurements are
possible with extremely light sensors.
A sensor pen which is included in the scope of supply allows the input of the
profile as well as points on the occlusal area.
This newly developed system determines the optimum kinematic axis from
protrusion and opening movements. Misinterpretations of the functional
evaluation of the condyle paths will be minimized through this.
Measurement can be monitored in real time. The parameters of functional
analysis, in addition to the settings of the fully adjustable articulators
are issued in an automatically produced report.
The measurement systems can be extended to various applications, ranging from
the recording of myographic data to analysis of functional disturbances of
the cervical spine.
The basic system JMA20 fulfills all requirements of the modern functional jaw
movement analysis.
Data acquisition and analysis of data is performed by commercial personal
computers.

Pressure Plate
PDM Multifunction Force Measuring Plate
The multifunction force measuring plate operates with 1504 capacitive force
sensors arranged in a 32x47 cm matrix. It allows analysis of the static and
dynamic force and pressure distribution under the feet / shoes when standing
and walking.
The areas of application cover simple and fast dynamic roll-off analyses and
static load distributions. These can be used to determine foot function.
Feedback and coordination training with games exercises as well as
equilibrium analyses are also possible.
For the analyses, evaluation of the data measured takes place directly after
the measurement. The results are available in the shortest possible time by
way of a “Report”.
The PDM-S system is used as a stand-alone measuring unit and is connected via
the serial interface to a standard PC. This system does not need any
additional electronic devices.
The PDM system consists of a multifunction force measuring plate with a
special connecting board integrated in the motion analysis systems.
